Enhancing Nature
Wareham lies next to the most biodiverse area of the UK. We want people of all ages and knowledge levels to have the chance to engage with the nature around us. Anything from taking part in a guided walk or wildlife survey to keeping an eye on a young tree. Our aim is to promote practices which are sustainable, including tree and hedge planting and encouraging plants which attract pollinating insects – it’s also about planning for the right tree/plant in the right place.
