Planet Purbeck “Change is Coming” Report released
Taking 10 months to create, the report aims to inform the wider community of the ongoing nature recovery transforming our countryside and coastline, and share the views many locals have expressed about them.
Visit Wareham for Nature and Wildlife
This project puts Wareham on the map as THE base for enthusiasts and experts to explore the unique nature and wildlife of Purbeck. Sustainable Wareham and Visit Wareham, in collaboration with many environmental and conservation organisations, have created a website “Nature and Wildlife – Visit Wareham”, and have produced a leaflet called Visit Wareham for Nature and Wildlife.
Sustainable Tourism
Wareham thrives on visitors to the town. The ecotourism group organises projects to ensure we encourage visitors to be more sustainable, support local businesses and be mindful of their impact on our community and environment – whilst still enjoying the beauty of Purbeck and Wareham.
