We launched the leaflet with a Nature and Wildlife Community Fair on 22 April 2023 in the Wareham Town Hall which was so successful that we have now made it an annual event – with the fourth fair on 25 April 2026 featuring the Birds of Poole Harbour showing the local osprey nest on live webcam and over 180 people taking the opportunity to meet the passionate individuals and organisations working hard to care for Purbeck’s landscapes and species. The 14 organisations represented are now looking forward to next year – save the date – 17th April 2027!
