Join us outside the Purbeck School at 6.30 to help our house martins find mud for their nests at our biggest colony in Wareham.
These tiny birds travel all the way from Africa each year to build their mud nests on our homes and raise their chicks… but they need a helping hand.
At Wareham’s largest colony, we’ll learn how to spot house martins in flight, discover which houses they love to nest on, and even help them find the mud they need for building. Along the way, we’ll enjoy a real wildlife spectacle as these little flying superheroes swoop, chatter and gather materials right above us.
